Board members present: Chair Orlin Engh, Supervisor Bill Townsley, Clerk Sharon Engh, Supervisor
Adrian Amelse, and Treasurer Chris Abrahamson
Public attendance: Terry Theis, Carol Theis, Paul Lindskin, Carrie Vanek
- The meeting was called to order by chair Engh at 6:30pm.
- The minutes from last year’s meeting were read by Clerk Engh. Terry Theis moved to put them on file as read. Carol Theis seconded, all in favor, motion carried.
- The financial report was handed out and read by Treasurer Abrahamson. A copy is on file with the minutes. A few questions were asked as to how certain items were calculated. Questions were answered.
- Old Business: The ordinances that are being worked on should be done for presentation on July 1st.
- New Business: There was much discussion on the rate of pay for an elected official when working on town work. Orlin is currently doing the chairman’s job, as well as doing some patrolman work. Terry Theis moved that we pay $20 an hour to anyone that drives the truck or works the equipment, and $17 to anyone doing basic work. Chris Abrahamson amended it to say any town board member that goes above and beyond their town duties will receive $20 when using equipment and or $17 an hour above their yearly pay. Seconded by Bill Townsley, all in favor motion carried. An Ad will be put in several papers for the patrolman’s job.
- Next meeting date for the Annual meeting will be set on April 15, 2025 at 6:30pm at the Liberty Town Hall
- Terry Theis moved to adjourn the meeting at 7:13 pm, seconded by Adrian Amelse. All in favor motion carried.
