- The meeting was called to order by Chair Engh at 6:30 pm

- Chair Engh moved that we accept the minutes as written from May 12, 2025, seconded by Supervisor Vidas, all in favor, motion carried.

- Treasurer’s Report: Chris went over his report, and it is on file.

- Dumpster Monitor’s report: Paul said he had nothing to report

- Equipment Report: All equipment is in working order. Ditching is being done, there have been a lot of downed trees that have been cleaned up, Orlin has been blading, and progress has been made on the corner. Gravel should be coming on Wednesday.

- Building permit updates: Chris reported that the Muellers got a building permit for a house being built.

- First public comment: Terry Theis brought asked about the county tax calculations, Chris addressed this. Allen wanted the town to be aware of reckless drivers on Old 56.

- Town Announcements: Terry Theis updated us on the fire board meeting that was held in May.The lease agreement was brought up and how the Village of Viola was asked to change some wording. July 2nd is the next meeting. The Lease will be voted on in August. Orlin mentioned that someone is dumping tree limbs on Old 56 and if you see anyone doing this to let him or Allen know.

- Comprehensive planning committee update: There was much discussion on the policy and procedures. They will be working from the original document and then track their progress. It will be posted on the website so the public can be updated. The notice of the meetings and agendas will be posted as soon as possible.

- Citation ordinance updates: Chris handed out the updates. He gave the board homework to do by looking at all the ordinances to be discussed at the next meeting. What is the procedure going forward? The board issues a citation complaint with a certified letter and then court appearance. This will all be discussed at the Augus meeting.

- Town Hall updates: Power washing was done for taking off the old paint. Once dry enough, the new paint goes on. Then the ramp and deck will be done.

- Website discussion: Supervisor Vidas feels the website needs to be updated. He will talk to Catherine. Follow-up in July.

- Town picnic updates: July 12th is the date, at the Viola Park, with a potluck for food. It has been advertised with a banner at the dump, a flyer at the town hall and put on the website calendar.

- Voting on Liquor licenses: It was moved by Supervisor Townsley to accept the renewal of liquor license and server licenses for the Libert Bar. Seconded by Supervisor Vidas, motion carried. Supervisor Townsley moved to approve the renewal of the liquor and server licenses for the Sportmans club, seconded by supervisor Vidas, motion carried.

- Update on Illusion Drive: Chair Engh informed us that the shed was indeed moved, but not the full 30 feet as it should be. It was decided by the board that another letter be sent certified mail to have them move the shed to it’s proper distance from the neighbor’s property by the July board meeting.

- Second Period for public comment: Martin Chapman mentioned that he remembered when Danny Deaver was chair and how a house needed to be moved.

- Supervisor Vidas moved to pay the monthly bills totaling $9648.40, Chair Engh seconded, motion carried.

- Future agenda items: updates to town hall, community grant, quarterly update of the budget, future elections.

- Next meeting date is July 14th, at 6:30pm at the Town Hall

- Meeting was moved to adjourn by Chair Engh, seconded by Supervisor Vidas, meeting adjourned by 7:34 pm.
