NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that at an election to be held in the several towns, villages, wards, and election districts of the State of
Wisconsin, County of Vernon, on Tuesday, April 1, 2025, the following officers are to be elected:
DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC INSTRUCTION
One (1) State Superintendent, for the term of four (4) years to succeed the present incumbent listed, whose term of office will expire on
July 31, 2025: STATE SUPERINTENDENT OF PUBLIC INSTRUCTION: Jill Underly
JUDICIAL OFFICERS
One (1) Justice of the Supreme Court, for the term of ten (10) years, to succeed the present incumbent listed, whose term of office will
expire on July 31, 2025: JUSTICE OF THE SUPREME COURT: Ann Walsh Bradley
ONE COURT OF APPEALS JUDGE, DISTRICT IV for the term of six (6) years, to succeed the present incumbent listed, whose term
of office will expire on July 31, 2025: COURT OF APPEALS JUDGE DISTRICT 4: Jennifer Nashold
MUNICIPAL JUDGE
A special election for MULTI-JURISDICTIONAL MUNICIPAL JUDGE, (Hidden Valleys Municipal Court), serving more than one
municipality, to finish the four (4) year term of office that will expire on April 30, 2028:
Hidden Valleys Municipal Court Judge: Vacant Seat
(Village of La Farge, Village of Cashton, City of Westby)

NOTICE IS FURTHER GIVEN, that the first day to circulate nomination papers is December 1, 2024, and the deadline to file
nomination papers is 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday, January 7, 2025. Candidates for State Superintendent of Public Instruction, Justice of the
Supreme Court, and Court of Appeals Judge, file with the Wisconsin Elections Commission (WEC). Multi-Jurisdictional Municipal
Judge candidates file with the Vernon County Clerk’s office.
NOTICE IS FURTHER GIVEN, that if a primary is necessary, the primary will be held on Tuesday, February 18, 2025.
